Start with the current guide

Cloud Digital Leader focuses on explaining cloud capabilities and their business value. The current official guide covers transformation, data, AI, infrastructure, security and operations. It was updated in August 2026, so check the version before following an older course. The linked guide is the source of truth; the schedule below is our suggested routine, not a Google-prescribed preparation period.

THE STUDY ROADMAP

Four weeks. One clearer picture.

  1. WEEK 1MapFind your gaps

Read the guide. Try a diagnostic.

  2. WEEK 2CompareExplain the difference

    Work through your weaker topics.

  3. WEEK 3MixApply it somewhere new

    Revisit mistakes in fresh scenarios.

  4. WEEK 4RehearsePut it together

    Try timed practice. Review coverage.

Our suggested sequence—not an official timetable. Extend any stage that needs more practice.

Week one: build a map of what you know

Create a page for each domain in the guide. Under each, write three columns: what I can explain, what I recognize, and what is new. Try a short diagnostic before rereading your notes. Record confident mistakes as well as unanswered questions: a familiar phrase can hide a misconception.

For each unfamiliar concept, write a business question it helps answer. Instead of copying a definition of scalability, describe a retailer handling seasonal demand. Keep the example small enough that you can explain it aloud in a minute.

Week two: practice choosing between alternatives

Schedule several short sessions around your weaker domains. In each session, read one official resource, close it, and explain the idea in your own words. Then try a few original practice questions.

For a wrong answer, write the requirement you overlooked and why your chosen option did not satisfy it. For a correct answer, check whether you could explain the closest alternative. A guess that happened to work belongs on your review list.

Week three: mix topics and revisit mistakes

Stop grouping every session by service name. Mix questions so you must first identify the type of problem. Revisit earlier mistakes after a gap and use fresh scenarios where possible.

Keep an error log with five fields: topic, decision I made, missed constraint, corrected reasoning, and next review date. Do not copy whole explanations into it. A short correction you can recall is more useful than a notebook you never reopen.

Week four: review coverage and your exam arrangements

If you have a full, current practice test, try it under its timed conditions. Our free 20-question practice exam is a starting point, not a substitute for that rehearsal. Review the result by topic and by confidence, then spend the next session on the weakest explanations.

Check the official booking page for current format, identification and delivery requirements. Extend the schedule if major areas still feel unfamiliar. Four weeks is a planning template, not a promise that everyone can become ready in that time.
